Ms. Karen Crowder
Admissions Counselor

Ms. Karen Crowder began as Grace's admissions counselor in March of 2013.

Karen is bi-lingual, speaking both English and Spanish. Although originally from Michigan, she currently lives in the Little Village neighborhood. Karen has many ties to the community through her church and through her other part-time position as a social worker

An admissions counselor introduces our school to families of the neighborhood, encouraging families to enroll their children at Grace. This position also involves networking with local community groups, promoting our school and its programs, and building relationships with people in all walks of life. The counselor also assists the families in completing applications providing translation help as needed.
"It's been a real blessing to be able to work with Karen these last several months." states principal Carlo Giannotta. "Although she's quiet, Karen is tenacious and energetic. These are great qualities to have in admissions counselor."

We welcome Karen and wish her continued success as our admissions counselor.
